Preview: New Orleans @ Boston

The struggling Boston Celtics will try for a win Friday night as they will host the New Orleans Pelicans in Boston. New Orleans has been terrible on the road lately, having lost 6 of it's last 7 games on the road, including a 124-112 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Boston has an overall record of 8-9 at TD Garden this season, along with 2 wins their last 5 games at home.

Center Anthony Davis is aware of his team's road hardships this season.
"At home, we do a great job of talking, doing everything that we're supposed to do," forward Anthony Davis said. "We gotta bring that same energy, that same effort on the road. Make sure that we talk. "The biggest thing is communication."
New Orleans has split their last 10 games, winning 5 and losing 5. Facing a rebuilding Celtics team could certainly help them move closer to the playoffs as they currently hold the 10th seed with a record of 14-16.

Boston is currently .5 games back of Chicago for the 8th seed, as they suffered a 94-82 loss to them on Thursday which dropped them out of the playoff standings for now. I expect them to bounce back tonight with a W against the struggling road Pelicans. I predict a close game, with Boston coming out at the end.

PREDICTED FINAL SCORE:

NOLA- 89
BOS- 94
