Preview: Boston at Oklahoma

The C's will be looking to end their struggles against the Thunder Sunday night. Although, It won't be easy against a Thunder team who are 14-3 at home. The Thunder are clearly the favorites to win, as OKC has scored an average of 105.6 PPG while Boston has scored an average 94.6.

Boston has lost 3 straight contests, including a 95-92 L to the Pelicans on Friday. Boston was behind nearly the entire game. At half-time, the score was 49-43, and Boston does not respond well if they are behind at half-time. They have a record of 2-12 when behind at half-time. If the Celtics want to win this game, then they will have to shut down Kevin Durant and effectively box out Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins. A lead at half-time wouldn't hurt either.

Meanwhile, OKC is currently #1 in the West. They come into this game having beaten the Minnesota Timberwolves Saturday, to end their 2 game skid. They had 48 points from Kevin Durant. It was mostly Kevin Durant vs the Timberwolves the whole game. The C's will have to stop Kevin Durant from getting his buckets. Durant will be matched up with Jeff Green at SF.

As a Celtics fan, I want the Celtics to win every game, but I know that is not possible. My prediction for this game is that Boston will lead at half-time but will go off in the third quarter and allow OKC to score 30+ points. I also predict that KD will score 35+, while Green will end his struggles with a 25 point game.

PREDICTED FINAL SCORE:

BOS: 96
OKC: 114
