Celtics @ Bulls Preview

The Chicago Bulls will host the Boston Celtics Thursday night at the United Center in Chicago, IL. This will be the first meeting between both teams this season. Chicago is currently .5 games back of Boston in the playoff race. Boston has a record 13-18 (.419), while Chicago has a record of 12-18 (.400).

Boston has managed only 2 wins against Chicago in their last 8 meetings. Chicago and Boston last squared of on February 13, 2013. Brandon Bass led all scorers with 14 points, Joakim Noah led all players with 16 rebounds, and Paul Pierce dished out the most assists with 6. Both teams squared of a total of 3 times last season, with Boston winning 2 of 3.

Chicago will be looking to bounce back after a loss to Toronto that they suffered on New Year's Eve. Deng had 16 points, while Joakim Noah had 7 points along with 16 rebounds. Coach Tom Thibodeau had some words for his team after this tough loss, "We have to finish strong. We can't just flip the ball up there.'' Chicago is 7-7 at home and 5-11 on the road this season.

Boston will also be looking to bounce back after a one-point loss to the Hawks on Tuesday. To read the full recap, click here.

I predict the C's will blow a lead in this game, for this has been the case this season. Boston is also 5-9 on the road. The Celtics are one of the best first half teams in the whole NBA, but the second half production from the offense has been just plain terrible. It's sad to watch them blow leads, but it has been reality.

PREDICTED FINAL SCORE:

CHI- 101
BOS- 94
